And what do you suppose his story is?

This Klaus’ scene (for me) is the most amazing and sincere scene of him, because of “two” things: The first one is how Camille describes the unknown painter and Klaus feels like she’s describing him, actually, he knows he’s all those things, and when Camille says “alone” he breaks. He can’t hide his feels. THE POWERFUL ORIGINAL HYBRID can’t hide his feels when he listens to the word “alone”. And then he does like every human being already did in life once, he cries but he tries to hide/cover up the tears with a smile, a fake smile. Just to “show” that everything’s okay but he knows it’s not. And the second thing is that he finally admits to a strange person how she’s right, i mean, he admits he’s all those things to a strange woman and to himself, he never admited that but he finally did. So we can see how Klaus still have feelings he still have his humanity, this is his weakness.
